Started in burgos with quick shufty in the cathedral and off out of the city. We finally climbed up and out to this amazing sight which is the meseta. They describe it as walking on the roof of the world .. The sounds are pretty much drowned out by the strong winds but it kept reasonably dry .. You just see for miles and miles. Anyway. As I said pilgrim correspondent number 1 is still off duty (tonight was take the scraggy ends off the dreadlocks!) but once we get to main centre we will try and upload pics .. And you will get less nature and more details of pain!

Well... Another temp blog
The meseta seems to be the last place on earth where you might get the internet, and in fact this is true even in this pretty town Honsantos in a hidden valley in the largest plain on Spain. We walked all day again ... From village to village our european partners seemed to have queued from midday to book in. WHY? What do they do for the next 10 hours? It beats us.. Honsantos has some lovely accommodation though and we were lucky to find the last four beds in the auberge. Lovely meal with lovely spanish hotelier has made this a very enjoyable day.
